Tilly's First Shows!

We packed up and travelled to Canberra and attended four shows in one day. The Dogs A.C.T AM and PM Shows, followed by the ACT Gundog Society Inc A–Z and Z–A Shows. It was a huge introduction to the show world for a baby puppy.
Four shows in one day is a big ask of any dog, and human, let alone a baby puppy at her very first shows. But Tilly had an absolute ball. She met so many people, including lots of kids, and soaked up every pat and cuddle along the way.
The only other baby puppy entered was her sister Ava, making it extra special as it was both girls’ first shows. While we didn’t come home with any major wins, Tilly was awarded Baby Puppy of Breed and handled the entire day like a little professional.
The last show didn’t finish until around 11:30pm, and then we still had the 2.5 hour drive home ahead of us. Safe to say we were all completely exhausted by the time we finally crawled into bed.
Looking back now, this really was the start of our crazy journey together. At the time we had no idea what was ahead, but it’s such a special reminder of where it all began 💛
