Tweedkin Beneath Oak Trees

Twig holds a very special place in our hearts as our first home-bred girl, proudly kept from our “Beneath Oak Trees” litter. Born on 12 April 2026, she is the daughter of our beautiful Tilly and Australian Champion Giltedge Austin Powers.

Watching Twig grow from a tiny newborn into a young girl stepping into the show ring has been incredibly special. She made her show debut at the Golden Retriever National in South Australia, taking it all in her stride and making us very proud.

Critiques

"What a little poppet. Showing so much promise. she had a lovely outline with balanced angulation. Mid golden coat, presented really nicely. She had a pretty head and expression and a nice length of neck. Excellent front and rear, level topline and correct tailset. She is at just the right stage of development for her age. Moved around the ring with style and
confidence. I’m sure she will go on to be a little star."

"Another nice baby. Nice head. Good neck into good shoulders. Nice level topline. I would like to see a little more second thigh. Good tailset. Good catlike feet. Lovely dog."
